Mosque Imaret in Bulgaria, Plovdiv resort

The word"imaret" translates as"a shelter for the homeless" - the building of the mosque was originally intended for this purpose. The construction of the mosque dates back to 1445, as evidenced by the inscription carved above the entrance. The interior of the mosque is quite rich and beautiful.
