Ancient pagoda of the heavenly gods in Vietnam, Dalat resort

Dragon   Pagoda   or the Pagoda of the Heavenly Gods is located 5 kilometers from the city of Dalat on Dragon Hill.

The pagoda was erected by the ancient community of Tho Da in 1958. The pagoda complex includes three wooden structures that are crowned with iron roofs. In 1989, Mr. Le Wan Kanh carried out restoration here, during which the central building was demolished.

Inside the Tu Ton shrine, right in the center, you can see the statues of Buddha Shakyamuni and Buddha Maitreya (more than 2.5 meters), and in the corners there are statues symbolizing the four heavenly kings.

Inside the second sanctuary of Min Quan interesting statues of the Three Eastern Buddhas – Manjusri Bodhisattva, Buddha Shakyamuni and Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva. These statues were made from aloe wood. The statues reach a height of 4 meters.

Behind the pagoda, on a hill, is the altar of Buddha Shakyamuni, which is over 10 meters high.
