Chen Family Temple in China, Guangzhou Resort
Rating: 7,6/10 ( votes)  This temple was built in 1894 during the reign of Emperor Guangxu. All members of the Chen family, the oldest clan, which included many people, collected money for it. Their temple is a truly grandiose structure. Members of the dynasty were also trained here. The family temple is surrounded by a brick wall. It consists of 6 courtyards and 19 rooms. The temple is designed in the Lingnan style, which combines Western, Japanese and Chinese traditions. The area of the complex is about 8 thousand square meters. The main entrance of the temple is decorated with 17 carved columns, railings and stone beams are covered with bas-reliefs and carvings, the ridge of the roofs are decorated with clay sculptures and carved bricks.
