Museum of Contemporary Art in Spain, Barcelona Resort
Rating: 8,5/10 (695 votes)  Since 1945, this museum has been located on the left side of the Palau de la Citadella. The Regional Parliament is located in the same building. This palace was erected as an arsenal in the 18th century, and the museum wing was added to it only at the beginning of the 20th century. It is worth paying special attention to the section dedicated to the Art Nouveau style. It presents paintings, interior items, sculptures, as well as many other works of modernists and expressionists of the early 20th century. On the top floor there is a graphic collection with numerous cartoons. The contemporary art section takes up very little space. It features works by Spanish artists such as Salvador Dali and Juan Miro.
