Rating: 8,3/10 (435 votes) The Church of St. John of Nepomuk, located in Kutna Hora, is the only sanctuary in the city created in the late Baroque style, combined with Rococo elements. Construction the church was produced in 1734-1752. The building was designed by the architect F.M. Kanki. The interior of the church is a unity of style. The stone sculptures are the work of different craftsmen. The carved polychrome altar with imitation marble was created by the workshop of F.I. Platzer. In 1980, the building underwent a series of reconstructions, during which the statics of the vaults, roofs, external walls were strengthened, and a complete restoration of the interior was carried out.
