Khan Al-Umadan Caravanserai in Israel, Akko Resort
Rating: 7,9/10 (2043 votes)  The Khan Al-Umadan caravanserai is the most beautiful and largest caravanserai in Akko. The caravanserai was built in 1784 by order of Al-Jazzar. Inside this two-story building, there is a small courtyard with a well in the center. On the upper floor of the caravanserai there were living rooms, and on the lower floor there were storage rooms. The interior facade of the building was decorated with arches with columns. In 1906, the main entrance was decorated with a beautiful Clock Tower.
