The Ethnographic Museum of Balchik is now housed in a beautiful two-story building of the 19th century.
On the first floor of the museum there is an exposition of folk crafts. Here you can see tools for woodworking, tailor's craft, as well as objects used in the 18th century in everyday life – boilers, pots, and other kitchen utensils.
On the second floor of the museum, a collection of handmade national costumes is presented to visitors. Weaving was one of the main sources of income in this region. The costumes are decorated with a variety of bright embroidery. It also houses wool processing machines, spinning wheels and a horizontal loom. The collection of jewelry is also of considerable interest.
