Old Town in Montenegro, Bar resort

This is the area at the foot of Mount Rumia. The total number of buildings in the Old City is 240 buildings. However, due to the destruction in the city at the end of the 19th century, some of the ancient monuments have come down to us only in the form of ruins. The oldest monuments of the Old City undoubtedly include the gate X — XI centuries, as well as the ruins of the Cathedral of St. George of the XI century and the churches of St. Catharina and St. Venerandas. For example, the clock tower (built in 1753) belongs to the times of Turkish influence.
