The Princes' Islands are officially considered the main destination for a beach holiday in Istanbul, the main reason for this is the elementary pollution of the coastline inside the city. Therefore, most of the tourists for the sake of a calm and safe rest on the sand go either out of town or to the island part of Turkey. The coasts located here are very different from most of the beaches in Turkey.

There are only nine Adalar Islands, as the Princes' Islands are called here, and only four islands are used by tourists as resting places, accordingly, ferries, boats or sea buses are regularly organized to the four islands. In addition to the large and well-known far outside the country Green Beach, claiming the status of the oldest of the beaches of modern Turkey, there are many other less described beach areas.

On the largest of the islands Adalar, Buyukada Island, has another beach - Yuryuk Ali, but this is not the only beach area here, albeit the largest. There are small, but cozy and well-equipped beaches nearby, the most popular of which is Kumsal. In addition, this beach is located opposite the landmark of the same name - a beautiful mosque. On opposite sides of the coastline are the Nakibey and Prenses beaches, small sandy areas that will appeal to those looking for a relaxing time ashore. There are no highways created on any of the islands, so you will have to cross between the beaches either on foot or by sea - boats should take tourists between the beaches of one island for free.

Another place that is poorly described in travel guides to Turkey is the island of Sedefada and the beach of the same name, which is in the public domain. In fact, the entire island is a private residential area, where quite wealthy Turks live during their holidays, so tourists are allowed to visit only a small beach. There is a restaurant at the beach, which is the only one on the whole island. You can get here only by private boat, having previously agreed with the captain about the time of the return journey.
