The Basilica of Santo Pieve (St. Marino) was designed by the architect Antonio Serra in the neoclassical style and built in 1838 on the site of the demolished ancient church of Pieve. The splendor of the central nave is accentuated by Corinthian columns. The main altar is adorned with a marble statue of St. Marino, by the sculptor Tadolini, a student of Canova. Part of the relics of St. Marino is kept under the altar.
