Photo and description

Construction of the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and the adjacent Franciscan monastery building was started in 1351 and completed at the beginning of the 15th century. For the construction of the church, materials from the old monastery were used. The circular carved window of the facade, closed in 1600, has recently seen the light of day. Craftsmen from San Marino and Como took part in the construction of the church and the adjacent fraternal building. The Pinakothek Museum contains a rich collection of paintings by artists from various Italian schools of the 16th-17th centuries.
