Park "Labyrinth" is a beautiful historical park located on one of the slopes of the Collserola mountain range, on the territory of the former estate of the Desvalls family. The huge park of 9.1 hectares is divided into two gardens, the first of which was created in the neoclassical style in the 18th century, the second in the romantic style in the 19th century.

Many years ago, in 1791, the Marquis Joan Anthony Desvalls and d'Ardena wanted to create a large garden on his land. Together with the Italian architect Domenico Bagutti, the Marquis developed a neoclassical garden project, which was carried out by the master gardeners Jaume and Andreu Valls and Joseph Delvalier. This part of the garden consists of three terraces: the first terrace contains a hedge maze, which consists of 750 meters of exactly trimmed cypress trees. At the entrance to the labyrinth, cut in the form of an arch, there is a bas-relief depicting Ariadne presenting a ball of thread to Theseus. In the very center of the labyrinth there is a small platform on which a beautiful sculpture rises. Benches are placed around the area. There are 8 paths leading to the labyrinth from this site, each of which begins with a beautifully trimmed high cypress arch. On the second terrace there are two pavilions created in the Italian style, and on the uppermost one there is a pavilion dedicated to nine muses, behind which there is a picturesque pond.

The romantic part of the garden is represented by elegantly decorated flower beds, beautifully planted trees, recreation areas. There is also a waterfall here. The romantic garden is extraordinarily beautiful and cozy.

The descendants of the Desvalls family in 1967 handed over the park to the city authorities. In 1971, it was opened to the public. In the summertime, open-air classical music concerts are organized here.
