Rudan Museum is a fine arts museum located in Peliatan Village, Gianyar District. In this district is the city of Ubud, which is considered the center of Balinese artistic life.

The Rudan Museum was founded by the artist Nioman Rudana. In addition to being the founder and owner of the museum, Nioman Rudana is also the founder of artist support organizations in Ubud. At one time Nioman Rudana was a member of the Council of Representatives of the Indonesian Regions. Nioman Rudana is a follower of the Balinese concept of Three Hit Karana, which is widespread among the indigenous inhabitants of Bali and whose principles are based on the harmonious relationship of man with divine forces, nature and other people. Also, according to this concept, art contributes to the well-being and well-being of the nation.

The foundation stone of the building was laid in 1990 in December. The museum was officially opened on December 26, 1995 by the President of Indonesia, Haji Mohammed Suharto. The museum has over 400 exhibits, among which, in addition to paintings, there are also sculptures. The first and second floors showcase works by contemporary Indonesian artists such as Affandi, Bazuki Abdulah, Maid Vyanta. There are also works by Indonesian postmodernists. The third floor displays works by traditional Balinese masters from Ubud and foreign artists who lived in Bali.
