The Ruse Opera House is located on the Holy Trinity Square. Its extensive repertoire is able to satisfy even the most demanding needs of connoisseurs and lovers of opera art: not only the classical and textbook operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giacomo Puccini and Giuseppe Verdi, but also more modern works by composers Stravinsky, Shostakovich and many others, sound from the stage. Over the years of turbulent activity, over two hundred different musical and theatrical works have been staged on the stage of this theater, many of which were premiered for Bulgaria. Many world-famous performers have performed on the stage of the Ruse Opera House in different years, such as: Raina Kabaivanskaya, Anna Tomova-Sintova, Nikolai Gyaurov, Todor Mazarov, Elena Nikolai, etc.
