The chapel-chapel of Theodore Ushakov in Taman is located at the entrance to the village, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and roses. The golden domes of the temple are the main decoration of Taman.

The chapel-church was built at the own expense of the founders of the Yuzhnaya agricultural company and the Ariant wine holding. Benefactor A. Kretov handed over the erected building to the believers of the Ekaterinodar diocese, for which he received gratitude from Vladyka himself. The ceremony of consecration of the chapel in the name of St. Righteous Theodore Ushakov was held in May 2006 by Bishop Tikhon in the presence of a huge number of clergy and guests.

Admiral Fyodor Ushakov is not only one of the most revered Russian naval commanders, but also a holy Russian warrior who has not lost a single combat ship in the battles. He was a man of honor who won popular recognition for himself. Fyodor Ushakov created the famous Black Sea school of training, brought up a whole generation of flagships. On November 30, 2000, the commission for the canonization of the Russian Orthodox Church decided to rank the outstanding Russian naval commander Fyodor Fedorovich Ushakov among the saints.
