Bogota's Botanical Garden is the largest in the country. It was founded in 1955 and bears the name of the famous biologist and astronomer - Jose Celestina Mutis. The park features collections of plants grouped by ecosystem. Here you can see rare mountain plants growing in the Andes. There is an artificial waterfall in the garden, and there are special laboratories for studying plants and flowers.
