Dikli Castle is one of the oldest possessions of the von Palen family. The homestead is located in the village of Dikli, which is about 40 km from the Latvian city of Cesis. The first mention of the estate dates back to the beginning of the 15th century, at that time the estate belonged to Gottschalk von der Palen. The manor belonged to the Palen family for three centuries; in the fall of 1722, the manor, together with the village of Vikyu, was sold to the stable manager. During its long history, the estate has repeatedly changed its owners, it was either sold or simply passed on by inheritance.

The modern Dikli building, built in the neo-Gothic style, was built in 1896. At that time, the owner of the estate was Baron P. Wolf. Even more ancient than the manor is the manor's barn, built at the end of the 18th century. The cage is made in the style of late classicism.

The estate building harmoniously complements the park, which covers an area of 20 hectares. The landscape park begins behind the pond. When the park was researched in the 60s of the 20th century, about 20 species of exotic trees were recorded, at that time their age reached 30-40 years.

In 2000, the estate was acquired by a private company for the purpose of restoration and restoration of the castle, as well as buildings belonging to the estate. Initially, a restoration project was developed, according to which restoration work began in 2002. The restoration was carried out with the preservation and restoration of old parts from the basement to the attic.

The castle was opened for visitors on July 26, 2003. Now this day is celebrated every year as the day of the manor's revival.

Now the manor houses a hotel, a restaurant, a bath complex with a jacuzzi and a swimming pool, as well as SPA and premises for events (weddings, banquets). In 2005, the restaurant and hotel received a certificate of compliance with the 4-star standard.
