In the Aegean Sea, in the southern part of the Cyclades archipelago, lies the small Greek island of Folegandros. Until recently, this rocky island was not very popular with tourists. Nevertheless, picturesque natural landscapes, interesting sights, azure waters of the Aegean Sea and a special atmosphere of comfort attract more and more lovers of calm and measured rest to Folegandros every year.

The capital is also named Folegandros. islands, often referred to as "Chora" (however, like many administrative centers of the small Greek islands). In the vicinity of Chora (about 4 km), on the slope of a picturesque cliff, there is one of the most famous sights of the island - the Church of the Virgin. A zigzag road leads to the majestic white structure at the very edge of the abyss. The top offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the coast.
