The nice sandy beach of Agali (the word translated from Greek means "bosom") is located in the picturesque bay of Vafi, next to the coastal village of the same name, at a distance of about 4 kilometers west of the main city Folegandros Islands, Chora.

The beach in the center of the western coastline of the island is considered one of the best in the area. There are two or three restaurants 50-100 meters from the sea, where you can drink coffee or other drinks and enjoy very good food, prepared mainly from seafood, or grilled meat dishes. The taverns are open only in summer.

The beach is made up of pleasant fine sand that goes into the sea. When there is no wind, the waters are calm, transparent and very clean. There are no sun loungers, awnings or natural shade here, therefore it is better to take everything you need with you. At the southern end of the beach there is a very small, almost private beach, the path to which lies in shallow water past the rock on the left. There is shade from the rocks, a small cave and places ideal for diving.

Excursion boats leave from a small pier on the right side of the beach to Agios Nikolaos, Galifos, Fira and Faroe.

In August, Agali hosts competitions for surfers, swimmers and championships in beach games.

It is very easy to get to Agali Beach - by any car from Hora, the walk will take about an hour.
