The open-air museum contains wooden buildings brought from different places in Myshkinsky and adjacent areas. Wooden architecture is represented by a rich collection of household buildings: barns, log cabins, baths, as well as special buildings: a pavilion for a merchant's estate park, a beacon's house, etc. There is an extensive collection of windmills of various designs. Separately, there is a chapel from the village of Yuryevskoye on the Sit River and a quadruple of the gateway church from the village of Rudina Slobodka.
