Photo and description

There is a small Hydrobiological Museum near the Kaitbey Fort. The 50 aquariums in the museum are home to fish, shellfish and corals from the Nile, Mediterranean and Red Seas. The biggest attraction of the museum is the skeleton of a 17-meter whale that was thrown ashore east of Alexandria in 1936.
