The Eye of London, or as it is also called the Millennium Wheel, is a giant Ferris wheel installed in London on the banks of the Thames. Wheel height 135 meters. It was installed to celebrate the millennium. Architects - David Marks and Julia Barfield.

There are 32 egg-shaped passenger capsules on the wheel, according to the number of districts that make up Greater London. Each capsule accommodates up to 25 people. The wheel travels at 26 cm per second (0.9 km / h) and takes about 45 minutes to complete a revolution. Wheel fragments were transported along the Thames on barges and mounted in a horizontal position, then a special lifting system lifted the finished wheel.
