Ifrane National Park is located in the heart of the middle Atlas Mountains, 60 km from the imperial city of Fez at an altitude of about 1650 m. The national park with a total area of 500 sq. km was created in 2004 The main purpose of its creation is to popularize and protect endangered species of flora and fauna.

The natural wealth of this region has turned them into a real tourist paradise. Due to the large number of lakes and rivers, Ifrane Park is considered the main reservoir of water in the country. On the noble soil of the park, there are beautiful Mediterranean oak forests and cedar groves. The Ifrane National Park is home to over 1000 species of plants and trees, including 250 endemics. A special representative of the fauna is the Berber macaque. It is in this place that you can closely observe these interesting, cute and friendly animals that have become almost tame.

Due to the fact that the territory of the park does not experience a shortage of water, it has become a refuge for a large number of birds, of which there are over 200 species. Also, the park is home to about 30 species of reptiles.

The real decoration of the Ifrane National Park is the largest cedar forest in the country, which is great for all kinds of hiking, hiking and picnics. Picturesque alpine meadows and the magnificent Afenurir lake, hidden in a cedar forest, will not leave indifferent any tourist.

In winter, a huge number of alpine skiing enthusiasts are attracted by the snow-covered slopes of Mount Chebri and the excellent trails of the famous Micchlifen ski resort.
