Dukhovsky Kruglik - an exhibition hall, a branch of the center of culture "Vitebsk". The tower was built in 2007 in a medieval style.

Why is the four-sided tower called Duhovsky Kruglik? During archaeological excavations carried out in 1984 on the site of the lower castle of Vitebsk of the XIV century, the remains of the foundation of a watchtower that once existed here, erected in 1330-51, were discovered. The tower had an octagonal base, from a distance it seemed round, therefore it received the nickname "round". Kruglik was located opposite the Holy Spiritual Church, and therefore received the nickname `` Duhovsky Kruglik. '' four levels, on which the museum exhibition halls are located. The author of the project is the architect Ruslan Lyadenko.

In the basement, you can see the remains of the foundation and walls of the original, not preserved Dukhovsky Kruglik, discovered during excavations. On the walls there are portraits of Prince Olgerd and Princess Ulyana. Under these princes, the fortifications of the Lower City were erected. On the second level there is an exposition illustrating the history of Vitebsk at the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th. Basically, there are engravings, drawings, paintings, maps and diagrams.
