Historical Museum. DI Yavornytsky is one of the oldest national museums in Ukraine. The museum is located in the city of Dnepropetrovsk, at the address - Karl Marx Avenue, 16

The architectural monument was founded in 1849, originally as the `` Museum of Antiquity of the Yekaterinoslav province ''. The modern building of the Historical Museum was erected in 1905. Its formation and development is closely connected with the name of Academician D. Yavornitsky, who since 1902 was the director of the museum. In 1940, the museum became known as the "DI Yavornytsky Dnepropetrovsk Historical Museum."

Visitors to this historical museum will be able to learn its entire 155-year history, see a large number of collected museum items.
