Cretsulescu Palace was built in the early 20th century by the Romanian architect Petre Antonescu. Despite its relatively short history, the building is considered one of the most majestic and beautiful in Bucharest. Located next to the Cismigiu Park, in an area where there are many architectural monuments created in imitation of French models. Bucharest, as a European capital, was created precisely in the late 19th - early 20th centuries. Art Nouveau was popular in Europe at that time, but the Romanian elite preferred France. The appearance of the Crezulescu Palace combined new Gothic and Baroque, creating a unique silhouette, graceful and pretentious.
