In the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, there is a small town Benasque with a population of just over 2 thousand people, which is part of the province of Huesca. The average height of the mountains around Benasque is 3000 meters, and the highest peak, Aneto, reaches 3404 meters above sea level.

The church tower with a bell tower was rebuilt in the 17th century in the late Gothic style. The palace of the Counts of Ribagorz, the houses of Casa Juste, Casa Faure and Casa Marcial del Rio are also of great interest.
