Photo & DescriptionMatusadona National Park is located on the wild southern shore of Lake Kariba and can be reached by road from Karimi or (more conveniently) by water from Kariba (Tashinga Kemp, 48 km. south west of Kariba, Changachirere Kemp 26 km south-southwest), Sanyati West and three other towns. The development of this region has been deliberately held back so that visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of pristine Africa. Both camps are equipped with running water and bathrooms, and two other special tourist camps can be conveniently accommodated. Matusadona has become popular due to the fact that here tourists are provided with the rarest opportunity to observe wildlife both from land and from water.
