The English Garden stretches for five kilometers along the Isar River. Both Munich residents and guests of the city willingly rest here.

The English Garden was founded at the end of the 17th century. The master of park architecture Ludwig von Skiel has created a huge park in this area with winding paths and romantic landscapes in the spirit of English gardens. It opened in 1808 with a different name - Karl Theodore Park.
