Not far from Kusadasi there is the wonderful Dilek National Park. Most of this reserve is closed to tourists as a military zone. The most frequently visited section is a 10 km stretch of road that runs past four beautiful pebble beaches. Here you can see representatives of the Mediterranean flora - chestnut groves with dry shrubs. The park is home to Anatolian cheetahs and wild horses - the only ones remaining in Turkey.
