The memorial apartment of Andrey Bely is located at the corner of the pedestrian Arbat street and Denezhny lane. The museum is located in an apartment on the third floor of Rakhmanov's house. The house is also known under the name "Professor's House".

Andrei Bely is the literary pseudonym of Boris Nikolaevich Bugaev. In an apartment on the third floor of the "Professor's House", lived the family of Moscow University professor NV Bugaev. The future poet was born here. Here he spent his childhood and the period of study at the private gymnasium L.I. Polivanov, located on Prechistenka Street. Here he lived while studying at Moscow University. He lived in this apartment until 1906.

The memorial museum-apartment of Andrei Bely, a poet, writer, mystic, a prominent representative of Symbolism, was opened in August 2000. The museum is a branch of the A.S. Pushkin. The opening of the museum was preceded by work on the collection of materials for the museum fund.

In the room of the mother of the future poet A.D.Bugaeva there are exhibits dedicated to the upbringing of Bori. It was his mother who instilled in him a love of music, literature, painting. It also tells about symbolism in general and about the history of Moscow symbolism, about the early work of Andrei Bely. The poet's father's study has a large working desk. The room contains exhibits related to Moscow University, Moscow professors and interesting people who visited the Bugaevs. In the dining room, photographs, manuscripts and books are displayed, allowing you to get acquainted with the dramatic biography of the writer in the context of time. The drawing room tells about the meetings of the "Argonauts" and about the numerous guests of the Bugaevs.
