The Museum of the Turkmen Carpet was established in 1993. In the exposition of the museum, you can see more than two thousand copies of carpets, including very rare and ancient ones. One of the exhibits - a huge handmade carpet with an area of more than three hundred square meters - is included in the Guinness Book of Records. The museum fund is constantly replenished, including through gift items. The museum has a workshop for the repair of antique carpets.
