Sondalo is a small village located at an altitude of 940 meters above sea level a few kilometers from the popular Italian ski resort of Alta Valtellina. Its territory is part of the Stelvio National Park.

Sondalo is known primarily as a health resort that can satisfy any needs of vacationers. The salubrious air, the temperate climate, the variety of natural landscapes and the advantageous geographical location - at the optimum altitude and protected from the winds - make this resort an excellent place to relax at any time of the year.
