The Church of the Archangel Michael in the city of Novosibirsk is a functioning Orthodox church. It is located on Bolshevistskaya Street, in the former building of the House of Culture. The cinema itself was erected not far from the place where the Orthodox church, destroyed in the post-revolutionary period, was located.

The parish was officially founded in 1994. Until 1925 the temple was located on the outskirts of the city. In Soviet times, the church was used as a warehouse, then a club, which was soon simply destroyed. Thanks to the efforts of local residents, a new building for the arrangement of the temple appeared in the city. The temple was consecrated by Archpriest Pavel Patrin.

Believers constantly prayed for help in finding a church. Today the parish of the Church of the Archangel Michael is located in the rebuilt brick building of the Zarya culture house, which was transferred to the Archangel Michael community by the local authorities. With funds donated by parishioners, believers purchased the necessary church utensils and furniture. As expected, the church has a vestibule, an altar, an iconostasis, the middle part of the temple and an ambo, and a heavenly dome with a cross shone above the roof.

It took more than two years to repair and equip the temple. In 2009, mosaic icons were installed on the facades of the building. On the main western facade there is a mosaic icon of the Archangel Gabriel and an amazing mosaic image of the Archangel Michael, above the central entrance - a mosaic icon of the Savior.

The belfry of the Church of Archangel Michael is placed separately, in a specially built gazebo with a tiled tent. The belfry has five bells from the late 1990s. at the tin mill.

Services in the church are performed daily. The church has an adult and children's Sunday school, as well as a bell ringing school.
