The A. N. Skryabin State Memorial Museum is located in the very center of Moscow, in the Arbat area, in Bolshoy Nikolopeskovsky Lane. This is the only museum of the famous Russian composer in Russia.

The Memorial Museum is located in the apartment where the composer lived his last years (from 1912 to 1915). The composer lived in this apartment with his common-law wife and three children. In 1922, a museum was opened in their apartment.

The original furnishings have been preserved in the apartment, which has been preserved through the efforts of the composer's wife. The exposition consists of a study, a living room, a bedroom and a dining room. In the personal library of the composer, there are many books with notes made by himself. In the memorial hall there is an exposition "The life and work of Scriabin". The museum funds contain personal letters of Scriabin, letters from his friends, manuscripts, concert programs, reviews of the composer. Numerous photographs reflect the appearance of the composer at different ages, the appearance of his family members and friends, most of them well-known cultural figures of that time. The apartment was visited by the philosophers Bulgakov and Berdyaev, artists Pasternak and Sperling, theatrical figures Meyerhold, Koonen, Tairov. Symbolist poets - K. Balmont, Viach. Ivanov, Y. Baltrushaitis and many others. The museum has a music library, which contains recordings of Scriabin's musical compositions. These are recordings of the author's performance of works and his works performed by the best musicians and interpreters: Neuhaus, Sofronitsky, Feinberg and others.

The museum regularly hosts concerts featuring works by Scriabin and other composers. Recording nights are held memorable dates and evenings of memories are celebrated. The library contains scientific works about the work of Scriabin, memories of the composer, as well as books on art.

Since 1961, an experimental studio has been operating at the Scriabin Museum, which was founded by the inventor of the photoelectronic sound synthesizer E.A.Mazurin. The inventor named the synthesizer "ANS", in honor of A. N. Skryabin. The studio continues to work in the field of color and music synthesis on the idea of Scriabin.

The uniqueness of the A.N. Skryabin museum is that it serves as a living testimony to the Silver Age of Russian culture.
