The Porvoo City Museum, located in the Old Town Hall built in 1762-64, presents the history of the region, arts and crafts and works of art.

The Old Town Hall is one of the most important buildings in the Old Town of Porvoo. This two-story building with an attic is decorated with a wooden clock tower at the very top.

Before 1880. the building was used by the city authorities for administrative purposes. In 1896. the museum association saved him from destruction by creating a museum in the town hall.

In 2011. an exhibition dedicated to the Middle Ages and ancient history has opened here.
