Buchberg Castle, which was rebuilt in the Renaissance style in the 16th century, was founded by Kuhring at the end of the 12th century. The city consists of several buildings, forming two courtyards. In the 19th century, the castle was rebuilt according to the project of the architect Ludwig Wachtler and after a while they left it, having boarded up the doors and windows.

There is also a plague pillar in the center of the village. There is also a historical museum in the town, which occupies a two-storey corner building at the intersection of Kollegrasse and Hornerstrasse streets. It was built at the end of the 18th century and was used as a secondary school in due course. The museum presents historical items that tell about the past of the region. Of particular interest are the statues from the Church of St. Gertrude: the stone Pieta from the first half of the 15th century and the sculpture of St. Anne from 1450.
