The Old Believer Trinity Church (Austrian Church) is one of the historical and cult sights of the city of Yekaterinburg. The temple was located on the territory of the estate, built at the turn of the XVIII-XIX centuries, and occupied a former residential building. Initially, the estate belonged to S. Chernyshev, but then it was transferred into the possession of a local merchant V. Blokhin. In 1835, the house with the estate was bought by the merchant A. Balandin, who rebuilt the house with the mezzanine according to the model project made by the Untershchtmeister D. Volegov. After that, the Yekaterinburg merchant-Old Believer S. Yanin became the owner of the estate and a residential building. It was he who in the early 1880s. transferred the estate to the Old Believer community.

Externally, the building of the house did not resemble a church in any way. Only one cross, installed over the gates of the estate, testified to the presence of a temple here. Over time, a community school and a religious school of the Old Believer community of Austrian consent appeared in the wing. The bell tower was added to the western facade of the wing in 1913. In the 1930s. the temple underwent significant redevelopment, during which the school was closed and the upper tiers of the bell tower were dismantled. The church building is a complex three-storey stone volume and is an example of an Old Believer religious building of the 19th century.

Previously, the building of the former temple was an object of cultural heritage of regional significance, as evidenced by a plaque installed on its walls, on which it was written: “A. Balandin's estate. The main house ". Today the land plot at 75 Rosa Luxemburg Street, with a total area of about 1.5 hectares, is under the management of the state institution "Tuberculosis dispensary".

In 2013, the local authorities planned to build a residential complex on Rosa Luxemburg Street. The auction was scheduled for April 23, 2013. However, after lengthy negotiations, the rector of the Old Believer Church P. Zyryanov was able to agree at MUGISO to remove the cultural heritage object from sale.
