Mactan Island is located in   Cebu, a province of the Republic of the Philippines, and   is part of the   Visayan Islands. Mactan is divided into   two administrative units: the city of Lapu-Lapu, and   also the municipality of Cordoba. On   Mactan is a large (second in   value in   country) airport.

The climate of Mactan is subequatorial, with   mild dry winters and   frequent short-term precipitation in   summer. The weather on   Mactan is characterized by variability, however, it is warm throughout the year, and the average annual air temperature is   + 27   ° C on average.
