You can get to San Diego from Lindbergh Field International Airport, located 5 kilometers northwest of the city's central business district. From here, there are domestic flights to the United States, as well as flights to Canada and Mexico. San Diego has a three-line light rail system - Green, Blue and Orange. San Diego has a mild Mediterranean climate with a swimming season from July to October. Summers are characterized as hot and dry, while winters are short and mild.
