San Diego is the southernmost point of the state of California, located near the border with Mexico. The city is very popular due to its excellent conditions for versatile recreation, a developed tourist infrastructure and, which is important, amusement parks for adults and children.

You can get to San Diego from Lindbergh Field International Airport, located 5 kilometers northwest of the city's central business district. From here, there are domestic flights to the United States, as well as flights to Canada and Mexico. San Diego has a three-line light rail system - Green, Blue and Orange.

San Diego has a mild Mediterranean climate with a swimming season from July to October. Summers are characterized as hot and dry, while winters are short and mild.
