If you are young, perky, looking for adventure 24 hours a day, then you will definitely love Ischgl.

Today it is the most fashionable and expensive resort in Austria. The old houses of the small village have turned into comfortable hotels and guesthouses and are waiting for both skiers and snowboarders. For the latter, there is a wonderful fan park, many gutters, a half-pipe with music, and free-ride tracks. It is worth noting that Ischgl is one of the four best European snowboard resorts. It hosts an annual competition hosted by the International Snowboard Federation.



A ski lift is organized in Ischgl for beginners. school, there is also a ski school for children and a ski kindergarten for children from 3 years old.

Supporters of active recreation can visit a sports center with a swimming pool and bowling alley, an ice skating rink, indoor tennis courts, organize horse-drawn sleigh rides, hang gliding and hiking.

Ischgl has a vibrant nightlife that lasts until dawn. Fashionable discos, bars, restaurants offering local and international cuisine are waiting for their guests. For the closing of the season, world pop stars come here with concerts. Often on the slopes of Ischgl you can find world famous celebrities. In general, in Ischgl everyone will find entertainment for themselves.


St. Nicholas Church

Cultural sights

Nikolausbrunnen Fountain was built in 1986 and is dedicated to St. Nicholas, the patron saint of Ischgl.

Church St. Nicholas, from whose original appearance only the Gothic bell tower survived, the rest of the church was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1755.

Not far from Ischgl in Mathon there is a Village Museum, telling about the old village life in Tyrol. There is a restaurant in one of the old rooms.

St. Anne's Chapel was built in 1610.

To the south of Ischgl there are wooden sculptures of Jesus, Virgin Mary, Magdalene, John and two life-size thieves.
