Today, the Yivli minaret is one of the symbols of the city. The building was built in 1230 by the Sultan Ala-ad-lin Kay-Kubad the First. The complete reconstruction of the minaret was carried out in 1373.

The structure of the building consists of 8 half-cylinders, which are decorated with brick-tiled mosaics. Due to such an interesting design, the minaret received the name `` Yivli '', which means `` corrugated ''.

The height of the minaret is 38 meters. An internal spiral staircase with 90 steps leads to the minaret's balcony.

On the floor, you can see the words of Muhammad inscribed in blue and turquoise paint. You can enter the minaret from the northern part of the base.

The minaret is visible from almost anywhere in the city.
