Villa Ataturk-Cat in Turkey, Trabzon resort

The original villa was built by Italian architects in 1903 for the Greek financier Karayannidis. In 1924, the first Turkish President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk stayed at the villa. In 1937, the villa of Karayannidis was donated to Ataturk. Currently, the city museum operates on the territory of the Ataturk-Koshku villa. The villa is surrounded by a picturesque pine forest, and the building itself, with its original architectural features, is considered the main attraction of Trabzon.
