The resort does not have an atmosphere of fun - the spirit of measuredness and a calm, unhurried rest reigns here. Gammarth has an interesting cuisine with a large number of French dishes - many French colonialists once lived in this area. However, there are also Tunisian restaurants where you can taste fish dishes and the famous couscous. Gammarth's finest restaurant is Le Grand Bleu with regal interiors and an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining. There is also a piano bar. Gammarth is famous for its wonderful white sand beaches, clear sea and not so many tourists on them. The beaches of the hotels are distinguished by all the amenities, but you can also have a good rest on public beaches. The local sea is somewhat hectic, but this makes the local surf really magnificent. In Gammarth there are opportunities for shopping, and not for the trivial purchase of souvenirs, but for a real shopping trip. But there are almost no sights here, but they are just a stone's throw away - not far from here is Carthage and many other ancient and interesting cities.
