Lycabettus in Greece, Athens resort
Rating: 7,7/10 (4105 votes)  Lycabettus is a 900-meter high mountain located in the central part of the city. The mountain gained its popularity thanks to the church of St. George located on it. The church was built in the 11-12th centuries. The building was destroyed in 1930 after a fire, but a year later it was completely restored. Today, a funicular, specially installed for the convenience of tourists, leads to the top of Mount Lycabettus.
