The old town hall of Bregenz is a unique architectural monument, as well as one of the most popular attractions in the city.

The town hall was built in 1686. The author of the project was the architect Michael Kuen. The main building material was wood. At the end of the construction work, the town hall was a monumental building, which soon became the seat of the city municipal authorities.

The skeleton of a honeycomb structure gives the building a picturesque look. The facade is decorated with colored shutters that serve as a decorative function.

Since the building is now a private estate, it is not allowed to enter it.
