Rating: 7,9/10 (1702 votes) The Pythagoras School is the oldest building of St. John's College at Cambridge University. Located at the north end of Northampton Street.
The school of Pythagoras was built at the beginning of the 13th century, even before the founding of the University of Cambridge. In the 16th century, a small annex was added to the building on the west side. Today it houses the Merton Hall graduate students' dormitory, and the Pythagoras school is used as the theater of the college of drama.
