TV Tower Europaturm in Germany, resort of Frankfurt am Main
Rating: 8,0/10 (1245 votes)  Europaturm TV Tower – TV and radio tower, located in Frankfurt am Main, about 340 meters high. The TV tower was created by the architect Erwin Heinle. the construction of the tower took place from 1974 to 1979. It became the tallest structure in the Federal Republic of Germany. In Germany, this is the second tallest tower of this kind (after the Berlin TV Tower). Its diameter is also impressive – about 60 meters. This is a world record for such buildings. Until 1999, the upper floors of the tower, where the disco and restaurant were located, were open to the public, but later Europaturm was closed to the public.
