The neoclassical round-vaulted building displays numerous and varied works by renowned Finnish masters, painters and other artists, from the mid-19th century to the present day. A separate place is occupied by an exposition highlighting the art of the southeastern part of the country, which developed and quickly became popular in the 60s of the XX century. Museum exhibitions are updated every season. Among other things, works by young artists are exhibited here.
