Koprivshtitsa is a small town where the traditional Bulgarian architecture of the period of national revival has been preserved. More than 200 houses in the town are architectural monuments, vivid examples of architecture of the 18th-19th centuries.

Pavlikyan and Vakareli houses are wooden, one-storey, have two rooms and utility rooms. These are examples of the oldest houses in the town. Later, two-storey houses with a stone base were built.
